I’m a mom with three wonderful kids – 13yo girl, 10yo boy, 6yo boy. As of September 2010, all three of them are in the education system.
I’m passionate about helping to transform that education system – to help create cultures in classrooms, schools and Districts that support a more holistic view of educating our children. I want to be part of figuring out how we “be a village” again – considering that our definitions of community are changing as virtual boundaries expand our world!

And I love learning with kids! They are imaginative, fun and I’m always impressed with the thoughts and feelings they share with me, when I stop to listen. I’ve learned that children are neither a blank slate nor lesser than the adults around them – I learn at least as much FROM my kids as I ever teach TO them!
