Learning Conversations

I’m a parent of three wonderful kids – 12yo girl, 9yo boy, 4yo boy. As of September 2010, all three of them are in the education system.

I’m passionate about changing that education system – to help create cultures in classrooms, schools and Districts that support a more holistic view of educating our children. I want to be part of figuring out how we “be a village” again – considering that our definitions of community are changing as virtual boundaries expand our world!

I’m passionate about parent involvement and just recently took on a second term as my District Parent Advisory Council’s president.

And I’m passionate about creating systemic support for excellence through a flexible foundation of technology use in schools – incorporating social media, communities, student engagement, etc…
